final in game & marketing asset

This character illustration is designed to be used both as marketing art and an in-game portrait asset. There’s an emphasis on silhouette and contrast to achieve this versatility. The background and character and layered to maximize the use cases for the final art.

design pipeline

2D concept illustrations and turnarounds were used by the character team to create high-res sculps and in-game low poly models. Using these models and a combination of Maya, ZBrush, and Photoshop I was able to rig, pose, shade, light, render, and composite the assets for use in final art.
